Head Mounted VR Update 2.7.2 Fix

We've just released update 2.7.2 for our Head Mounted VR, packed with fixes and improvements. Here’s what’s new in Head Mounted VR Update 2.7.2:

What’s New in Head Mounted VR Update 2.7.2:

  • Hand Orientation Fix for Android: We’ve corrected the hand orientation for Quest users. Plus, we’ve added an extra check for the MetaXR plugin to ensure orientation with it.

  • Ladder Interaction Improvement: We’ve fixed the issue that was causing trouble when climbing ladders in VR. Reaching the top shows the teleport ring.

  • Removed Ladder Movement Glitch.

  • Menu Cursor Fix: The menu cursor, which was rotated 90° and nearly invisible after the recent Hand Component update, has been corrected.

  • Direct Pull Skeletal Meshes Fixed.

  • Snapping Feature Upgrade: Snapping has been improved by moving it from version 3.0, giving you more precise and reliable object placement in your virtual environment. (Note: Small objects still require precise socket placement)

  • Finger IK Fix: We’ve tackled finger inverse kinematics (IK) issues with certain objects.

We’re dedicated to delivering the best VR experience possible, and update 2.7.2 brings us closer to that goal. Update now and jump back into your favorite virtual worlds with these exciting enhancements!
